Jennifer Carter joined leadership development program producer EWF International as president in 2017 and will be promoted to replace former CEO Tanis Cornell, who will retire. Cornell will still serve as an advisor on EWF’s board. Prior to working for EWF, Carter was senior partner and co-founder of the Shinobi Group, a Dallas-based technology consulting firm.

Joe Jouvenal, Chief Administrative Officer

Joe Jouvenal

Joe Jouvenal has been promoted to chief administrative officer and will be responsible for overseeing McCarthy’s national departments, helping facilitate collaboration between offices and strategizing company growth. Jouvenal previously served as southern region president, where he led management and operations and aided with preconstruction strategy. He joined McCarthy’s Dallas office as vice president of operations in 2012 but has worked with the company since 1998.

Bryan Kuster, Southern Region President

Bryan Kuster has been promoted to fill Jouvenal’s previous role as southern region president. He previously served as senior vice president, business unit leader in the McCarthy southwest region. Kuster specialized in higher education and commercial construction, and his team completed dozens of projects in Arizona and New Mexico over the past decade. These projects include more than $700 million in higher education and laboratory projects, such as the Biodesign Institute C research lab at Arizona State University and more than $1 billion in K-12 education facilities.

Adam Reed will now oversee all marketing, strategy, and brand management for Dillas Quesadillas. Prior to being vice president of marketing at Dillas, Reed worked with Raising Canes Chicken Fingers for more than a decade as their regional director of marketing, helping the brand’s growth across the United States.

U.S. Energy Development Corp.

Jacob Daniels, Vice President of Land

In his new role, Jacob Daniels will manage and oversee U.S. Energy Development Corp.’s land and leasehold contracts. He previously worked as a senior landman for Chisholm Energy Holdings, where he acquired and developed leasehold positions. Prior to that, he was acquisition and divestiture landman for Quicksilver Resources in Fort Worth.
