Most Coppell families know Dr. Melissa Rozas for excellent pediatric dental care. In practice 25 years, she is honored to watch her patients grow. Dr. Rozas is also known within her field for being a leader and mentor—starting with president of her dental school class. “After residency, I became an active board member and president of the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry,” she says. “I was passionate about advocating for laws that give dental access to underserved children.” Dr. Rozas also served as chairman of the Greater Dallas Dental Society where she promotes recruitment and education. “My calling has always been to be more than a mom and dentist,” she says. “Whether I am giving back professionally, at my children’s schools, or within my community, I love being a positive influence. When I commit, I’m all in!”
