ISN Taps Brian Callahan as Next CEO, CyrusOne Brings in New CFO, SVP

Brian Callahan, CEO

Brian Callahan takes over as the new CEO at ISN, a company dealing in contractor and supplier information management. Callahan will assume the position from outgoing CEO Joe Eastin, who will now serve as executive chairman. Callahan joined the company in 2004 and became COO in 2016 and added president to his title in 2018. A former officer in the U.S. Army, Callahan spent time with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and with Koch Industries. He was recently appointed to chairman of the Campbell Institute by the National Safety Council in 2023.

Joe Eastin, Executive Chairman

After spending 22 years as the CEO, Joe Eastin transitions to the role of executive chairman with ISN. Eastin played a pivotal role in helping create the Eastin ISN Center for Career Readiness at Oklahoma State, which gives students the ability to prepare themselves in the professional ranks through developmental and professional templates. He also serves on the Americas Board at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

CyrusOne 

Owen Morris, CFO

One of the leading global data center developers and operators, CyrusOne has a new CFO in Owen Morris. Morris will be tasked with leading the company’s global finance organization, including financial reporting, risk management, strategic planning, and accounting. Before joining CyrusOne, he was treasurer of Tenet Healthcare and the CFO at United Surgical Partners International, where he accelerated the company’s growth through acquisitions and was a managing director at Goldman Sachs.

Jay Elms, SVP Global Sales

Jay Elms is the new senior vice president of global sales with CyrusOne, coming over from NTT Global Data Centers Americas after six years as the VP of global sales with the company. In his new role with CyrusOne, Elms will be responsible for leading the company’s strategic global sales team to build deeper relationships with hyperscalers to give proven platforms to me customer’s high-demand digital needs. Elms also served as the global account director for Schneider Electric for five years.

BackBox 

John Evarts, COO

Backbox, a platform that supports network and security device automation for over 180 venders, has brought in John Evarts to be the company’s COO. Evarts most recently served as president and COO at Mediafly where he spent 14 years advancing corporate development initiatives like deal sourcing, due diligence, and integration for eight acquisitions. With BackBox, he will oversee leading go-to-market functions with responsibilities for sales, marketing, and corporate finance.

Yooz 

Dave Kasabian, Global CMO

In his new role as global CMO with Yooz, a purchase-to-pay and accounts payable automation solution company, Dave Kasabian will be tasked with leading the company’s worldwide marketing organization and working with Yooz’s European and American teams. Before joining Yooz, Kasabian served as the CMO of OneStream leading the growth of the global marketing team and brand. He also served as the CMO of Tagetik for six years, working to build a global marketing organization and establish the company’s brand.

SOLiD 

Scott Deweese, President

Scott Deweese has been promoted to president of SOLiD. Deweese has spent the last seven years with SOLiD, a corporate cellular provider, in a variety of roles, including SVP and general manager, Americas. Prior to joining the company, Deweese had the title of executive vice president for Intenna Systems. In his new role with SOLiD, he will oversee technology and product development for the company and its’ connectivity solutions, including distributed antenna system platforms and Open RAN radio units.

Dykema 

Catherine Bowe, Member, Corporate Finance

Catherine Bowe has been named member, corporate finance at Dykema. Bowe brings 17 years of experience as an in-house legal counsel for an investment advisor to her new role. She specializes in negotiating and structuring complex acquisitions, equity and debt financing, and joint venture arrangements. Before joining Dykema as senior counsel in 2021, Bowe worked as a member for Exall Legal Advisors.

Rebekah Hudgins, Member, Product Liability and Class Action Litigation

After serving as both senior attorney and associate attorney, Rebekah Hudgins will bring her skills in complex product liability cases, catastrophic personal injury, and class action litigation to the table in her role as member with Dykema. Hudgins routinely works with a wide range of commercial clients, as well as roadside assistance providers, retailers, and automotive and equipment manufacturers.

McKool Smith 

Erik Fountain, Principal

Erik Fountain has rejoined McKool Smith as principal after leaving the firm for a three-year period to serve as an associate at Sidley Austin. Fountain initially served as an associate for McKool Smith for five years with a focus on patents, trade secrets, and licensing disputes across multiple fields such as software, medical devices, automotive, oil and gas, and cellular. In his specialty, Fountain has represented clients such as Halliburton, Nevro, and Freddie Mac in significant IP and commercial disputes.

Hartman Wanzor McNamara 

Josh McNamara, Name Partner

Josh McNamara, a licensed CPA, has been appointed as a name partner at Hartman Wanzor, rebranding the accounting firm to Hartman Wanzor McNamara. McNamara joined the firm in 2017 after spending time as an associate controlling manager at The Walton Group and as a senior associate at KPMG, focusing on alternative investment space and working with private equity and hedge fund clients.

Spencer Gregg, Partner

One of many promotions and partnership moves at Hartman Wanzor McNamara, Spencer Gregg moves up to the position of partner from senior manager of six years after joining the firm in 2017. Before that, Gregg served as a tax senior at Texxol Energy and tax senior associate at BDO USA.

Summar Schiller, Tax Managing Director

Summar Schiller will now serve as tax managing director after holding the title of senior manager from 2019. Joining the firm in 2017 as a manager, Schiller came from BDO USA as a senior tax associate and a tax senior at Hartman Leito & Bolt before that role. She also received her CPA license in 2015 and has 10 years of public accounting experience.

Misty Blackwelder, Tax Director

With 20 years of public accounting experience, Misty Blackwelder, CPA, will now be tax director. Blackwelder joined the firm in 2015 but got her start with Ernest and Young.
