When I Went: May 24-28, 2013

Was That the Best Time of Year to Go? Yes and no. It wasn’t too hot, but it rained some off and on (apparently, May is their rainy season).

Why I Went There: Needed to relax and get away for a little bit.

Who Went With Me? My boyfriend.

We Stayed Here: San Juan Beach and Water Club Hotel.

You Won’t Want to Miss: They should try to see as much as possible!

Eat Here: The Water Club hotel (where we stayed) had wonderful Puerto Rico-infused dishes. The atmosphere was amazing as well! Very relaxing and trendy! The staff was wonderful as well.

Play Here: Carolina Beach. It’s directly in front of the hotel and is gorgeous! Also, if you get a chance, sign up for one of the activities they offer at the concierge desk. We went scuba diving at the Caribe Hilton hotel, and it was spectacular! Very friendly staff there as well!

If I Went Again: Stay LONGER and visit more of the island (Old San Juan)!

How Did You Get There From Dallas? Flew from DFW to ATL and then from ATL to San Juan.

Other Tips For Fellow Travelers: It is a blast, and I highly recommend going to PR!
