When I Went: August 3-6
Was That the Best Time of Year to Go? I think anytime is a good time to visit San Francisco. Being that I live in Dallas, I find August heat to be unbearable at times. While there in August, I had to wear a peacoat! I was so happy about that. I loved that it felt like fall in the summertime!
Why I Went There: Not to put a damper on this wonderful vacation opportunity, but unfortunately, I went to San Francisco for the funeral of my boyfriend’s little nephew.
Who Went With Me? My boyfriend.

We Stayed Here: We stayed with family.
You Won’t Want to Miss: The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Unbelievably fresh and delicious fruits and veggies. Please sample the fruit!
Eat Here: Ike’s Place. Best Sandwich I’ve ever eaten… really.
Play Here: I did enjoy the Steinhart Aquarium.
If I Went Again: I would love to have stayed a whole week and really get to see more of the city. I didn’t get a chance to ride in the trolley car, unfortunately.
How Did You Get There From Dallas? We flew with Delta.
Other Tips For Fellow Travelers: Its a beautiful city. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but you can always find cheap things to do. Bring a jacket no matter what month you visit!
