When I Went: April 18-21, 2013

Was That the Best Time of Year to Go? Yes, because it was during the festival. There are 2 weekends for the festival, we choose to go the second weekend. The first weekend is best if you are trying to get face time with all of the celebrities.

Why I Went There: The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Annual Festival

We Stayed Here: Avanti Boutique Hotel. It was only a block from where the Coachella shuttle picks up.

Eat Here: Brunch: Cheeky’s, lunch: Trio, dinner: Viceroy

Play Here: At the VIP sections at the Empire Polo Club for Coachella in Indio, of course!

If I Went Again: The trip was perfect, but if I had to switch it up next time, I would stay in a house with friends closer to the Polo club for Coachella. Our hotel was perfect, but we had a 45 min shuttle ride each day.

Other Tips For Fellow Travelers: Stay an extra day after the music festival to explore Palm Springs. It was an amazing trip.
