You Won’t Want to Miss: Millennium Park: the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, Cloud Gate, Crown Fountain, and Lurie Garden. Museum of Contemporary Art. Wicker Park/Bucktown neighborhood for shopping. North Avenue Beach. John Hancock Center. Michigan Avenue. Wrigley Field.

Eat Here: Gino’s East, a great deep-dish pizza. Lou Malnati’s, the best deep dish pizza. Pequod’s Pizza, also great deep-dish pizza. Riccardo Trattoria, awesome Italian food. Rose Angelis, incredible Italian food. It’s a neighborhood spot. Yolk, an amazing brunch spot. Gibson’s Steak House, nice meat.

Play Here: Millennium Park, especially at Cloud Gate. Put your feet in the water at North Avenue Beach. Maeve is a great neighborhood bar. Bucktown for the Crocodile Lounge. Lincoln Park.

If I Went Again: More time in Lincoln Park and visit the Art Insitute of Chicago.
