Ann Sacks’ First-Ever Slab Gallery Is Now Open
Shopping for a new kitchen island or backsplash can be hard. What if the four-by-five-foot marble countertop has different veining than its small block sample? What if it looks different in your home’s natural light than in the store’s bright halogens?
Known for its luxe tile and stone offerings, Ann Sacks is trying to answer those questions in the brand’s first-ever stone slab gallery, which opened last month. Customers can run their hands over 60-plus oversized stone slab samples from all over the world. The selection includes marble, porcelain, granite, and more, including pieces from Ann Sacks’ Terrazzo Renata line.
The airy 10,000-square-foot warehouse was designed to highlight details in the stone, including color and tactility. There is special LED lighting and large windows to properly shine light on the materials. The space also features a small reception area with a worktable, charging stations, and refreshments.

All of Hiatus Father’s Day Spa Specials
This month, Hiatus Spa + Retreat is going all-in on Father’s Day. After all, we all deserved to be pampered—even Dad. Through June 30, book the $198 “Dad Bod Package,” in which guests pick two of the spa’s essential services, like the signature massage or the body wrap. You can also purchase the “DIY Dad” gift bundle—CBD cream, CBD serum, and a knot bot, Hiatus’ version of a Theragun—for $50 off through the end of June.
During Father’s Day weekend proper, the spa will transform its relaxation lounges into—sigh—“man caves,” which include snack bags and a US Open livestream. Going completely in on the theme, the spa is offering free beer and CBD and Hot Stone add-ons to its “Well-Groomed Man” facial, “Knockout” massage, and “The One & Only” mani-pedi offerings. Guests also get 20 percent off all CBD products.

Arteriors The Outlet Moved
For years, folks have been flocking to the little house on Lovers for a chance to snag deals on everything Arteriors, from candlesticks to cocktail tables. But the homegrown design shop, founded in 1987 by Mark Moussa, recently packed up and moved its Dallas outlet store across town to the Inwood Outlet Center. Now neighbors with Elliott’s Hardware and the Crate & Barrel outlet, Arteriors The Outlet officially reopened May 5. The new store is double the square footage of its old space, outlet manager Tracey Hall says. Customers will be able to shop bigger furniture pieces than before, as well as browse a larger selection of pendant lights and chandeliers.
