Grapevine Is Getting Stranger

Our last visit to Hawkins, Indiana, circa 1980-something is fast approaching. Netflix is dropping part one of hit sci-fi drama Stranger Things’ final season May 27. But if waiting another week is more agonizing than wondering what the heck happened to Jim Hopper, then you’re in luck. This Saturday, Grapevine Mall is launching an official Stranger Things pop-up shop and experience.

The pop up recreates some of viewers’ favorite locations, including Joyce Byer’s house and Starcourt Mall—just hope you don’t get stuck in the Upside Down. There will be plenty of interactive experiences for fans. Get an up-close-and-personal look at the Demogorgon, relive some of your favorite childhood games at Palace Arcade, and more. Visitors will also be able to purchase merch, like action figures and Stranger Things cereal boxes, and customizable apparel. Tickets to get in are free, but reservations are required.

11 a.m.–8 p.m. Mon.–Thurs., 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Fri.–Sat., 11 a.m.–7 p.m., Sun. 3000 Grapevine Mills Pkwy., Grapevine. Learn more and reserve a time slot here.

Welcome to Harry’s House

You’ve streamed “As It Was” on repeat for weeks. You’ve watched every bootleg of Harry Styles’ 2022 Coachella performance—especially that duet with Shania Twain—out there. You even bought a copy of this month’s Better Homes and Gardens. You *can’t* wait for Harry’s House, which drops Friday, May 20.

To celebrate the British pop star and One Direction alum’s third solo studio album, Dallas’ East Quarter just announced a three-day pop-up experience at the Waters Building this weekend. Beginning Friday, visitors can listen to the new album while shopping a Harry’s House ‘zine, limited-edition vinyl records, exclusive merch, and more. The experiential event is one of only nine pop-ups to launch the album around the world. Other locations include Los Angeles, London, and Amsterdam.

3–9 p.m. May 20, 10 a.m.– 6 p.m. May 21–22. 2117 Commerce St. Learn more here
