Dallas Silk Art Hosts a Grand Opening Celebration in The Colony

Remember the birthday parties of your youth, where you’d tie-dye a sweatshirt or paint a ceramic mug? Dallas Silk Art is the grown-up version of that. At this brand-new brick and mortar at Grandscape in The Colony, customers can take creativity into their own hands. To start, they’ll choose a product (like silk scarves and cotton masks), then use the water marbling stations to design a one-of-a-kind print. On February 13 from noon to 9 p.m., stop in to receive discounted pricing during the grand opening festivities. Masks are required inside Dallas Silk Art and space is limited. Learn more about the event here.

Tarot Reading for Two at The TASCHEN Library

Grab an astrology-loving friend and head to The TASCHEN Library at The Joule for a tarot reading for two. Your 15-minute experience will be helmed by psychic Megan Benanti, who founded Tarot Dallas. The $99 tickets also include two books, Astrology and Tarot, Champagne to go, and complimentary 90-minute valet so you can peruse the Hotel Shop after your reading. Click here to book.

Favor x Kendra Scott Gift Delivery

Need to send a last-minute gift? Kendra Scott‘s Valentine’s Day collection is now available through the Favor app for delivery in as little as an hour. For $25, you can also add a hand-crafted bouquet from a local female florist. For every jewelry and bouquet bundle purchased through Favor, Kendra Scott and nonprofit Musicians on Call will deliver up to 300 gifts to frontline workers in Texas hospitals. Click here to order.

Galentine’s Day Celebrations at Flea Style

On February 12, visit Flea Style‘s Frisco outpost for a custom hat workshop hosted by founder Brittany Cobb. Or, head over on February 13 and 14 to shop a Galentine’s Market, where you’ll find on-site ear piercing, flower bundles, and hand-lettered cards. Learn more about both events here.

Made Market at Tootsies

Tootsies is celebrating Galentine’s Day by spotlighting local women-owned businesses. Made Market runs through February 15 and features brands like Zen Jenn Holistic Beauty and Trove Florals, whose pretty arrangements of preserved flowers have made appearances in our Gift Guides. On February 12 from 3 to 6 p.m., Tootsies is hosting an in-store happy hour. Stop by to sip a Zephyr Gyn cocktail while you browse the marketplace and the retailer’s other spring offerings.
