How to Look at Dallas Christmas Lights on Instagram

For a soothing collage of Christmas curb appeal.

Last year, we highlighted the Instagram account of Michael Wong, a local real estate agent with a knack for capturing good-looking exteriors. More specifically, we highlighted Wong’s work documenting facades bedecked with twinkly lights.

Because, yeah, you could slowly roll down the streets of Highland Park, or head to the intersection at Laussane Avenue to take in the scenic, string-lit views from Kessler Park. But it is nice to be able to take it all in from the comfort of your couch.

Wong looks like he’ll be continuing to kill it in the Christmas light department this year, but we’d like to offer up additional Instagram option to round out your digital display tour: The Potted Boxwood. Dallas’ Christina Dandar has built up a serious following (100,000 in counting with Southern Living, Town & Country, and home brand Serena & Lily among them), sharing elegant and adorable exteriors, and helping to spread the word on Dallas’ not-always-well-known architectural prowess.

Dandar has been documenting Dallas’ photogenic festiveness since October, but Christmas is now at the forefront of her feed, where her subjects range from the extravagant…

… to more timeless and simple displays.

Each account offers a soothing collage of Christmas curb appeal. Happy scrolling!
