Destination: Fort Worth
Holiday Tea: November 29 – December 29
Thursdays – Sundays, 2 to 4 pm | Starts at $50/person

The Ashton, a Fort Worth gem, is the city’s only historical boutique hotel. The interior offers a charming backdrop for an afternoon tea, which leans towards a traditional English tea. Guests begin with a complimentary flute of chilled Champagne and a selection of seasonal tea blends. The four-course experience begins with a roasted asparagus soup with crème fraiche, followed by winter-inspired tea sandwiches. To round out the menu: apricot and white chocolate scones with Devonshire cream and lemon curd. In all, this tea is decidedly heartier than your average tea spread of finger sandwiches and fruit tarts.
