There’s a really lovely little pocket of Uptown. It’s lined with old carriage houses and cottages with loads of character. Law firms and shops like Blue Print and The Koch House have found homes there, and now, three artisan-made brands are uniting under one roof to open 2708 Showroom.

To celebrate, the by-appointment design studio will open to the public tonight from 6-9pm with some Rose Gold Wine and light bites. Get to know the three brands making their official brick-and-mortar debut below.

Folklore Las Nińas: Founded in 2015, this brand for young girls and women features upscale apparel created by a network of artisans and designers in Bolivia and Guatemala. Folklore partners with Ecofiltro’s Water for Life program, which has a goal of reaching one million rural families in Guatemala with clean water by 2020.

Sunshine Tienda: Playful and beachy jewelry, kaftans, and accessories are designed by twins Laura and Amanda Ernst, then handcrafted by artisans around the world.

Modern Soul: The sandals and mules, handmade by craftsmen in Morocco, often pop up at Highland Park Village’s monthly Local market. Founded by friends and mothers who wanted something other than flip flops to wear while running around town, Modern Soul’s offerings are as comfortable as they are stylish.
