Anticipating U Beauty

Anytime I’ve ever spoken with anyone in Dallas about skincare, they almost always say, “Have you talked to Tina Craig? You should talk to Tina Craig.” It was worth the wait, because instead of simply getting recommendations from the “Queen of Skincare” (I believe Kameron Westcott was the one who said that), we’re getting actual, tangible products from Craig’s own skincare brand, U Beauty, which will launch November 1. Few details have been released, but I, for one, am excited.

Neighborhood Good’s “The Residency”

With a thoughtful blend of wellness and beauty products, “The Residency” (a dedicated space within Neighborhood Goods) allows shoppers to get acquainted with a curated lineup of brand and the people behind them. The innovative store will host a series of events, including “Good Vibes Only” (Dazey CBD drinks, Black Swan Yoga, and crystal readings from Rachel Fox) and “Show Up & Glow Up” (champagne, facials, and A.N. Other fragrance sneak peeks). The whole thing culminates with Lauryn Evarts-Bosstick (@theskinnyconfidential) leading a “Shelf Talk” about beauty and wellness on October 5.

Bluemercury’s 20th Anniversary Gift Bag

No Dallas beauty boutique has mastered the art of the gift-with-purchase quite like Bluemercury. During the month of September, the brand is celebrating its 20th anniversary, so naturally, the gift bag, accompanying any $200 purchase, is extremely solid. (And extremely large—there are 24 deluxe samples in each.) Expect products from La Mer, Skinceuticals, NARS, Chantecaille, and more. Bluemercury’s anniversary gift bags have a rep for selling out, so be sure to pay a visit to their Highland Park Village soon.
