Sometimes you have to find creative ways to stay active in Dallas’ unforgiving summer temps. Here are a few ideas.

Dance on the Lawn

When: Saturday, 9:15am

Where: NorthPark Center

Details: Led by Cristin Caulfield, whose currently weeks ahead of opening Dallas’ first dance cardio studio, will partner with Outdoor Voices to lead a 50-minute, full-body dance workout (don’t worry, this is choreography you can catch) on the lawn of NorthPark—truly the only mall I’d want to exercise at. Shopping, naturally, will follow, with the opportunity to peruse the activewear brand’s new line of exercise dresses.

*The event is free, click here for more details.

Summer Pool Party and Pilates

When: Saturday, 11am to 3pm

Where: Le Méridien Dallas, The Stoneleigh

Details: Start the morning off with a DJ-accompanied mat Pilates class led by West Hardin (the people love her), then follow up your sweat sesh with a hard earned pool party with happy hour drinks, brunch bites, cryo facials, Follain goodies (and sunscreen!), and more with your favorite Session Instructors.

*The event is free, click here to sign up via ClassPass. You can also sign up through the Session Pilates app.

TruFusion’s Grand Opening

When: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Where: TruFusion, 9100 N Central Expy

Details: The Las Vegas import, cosigned by A-Rod, features more than 60 combinations of HIIT, yoga, spin, and Pilates classes. It really needs to be seen to be understood. So they’re giving you three chances to get acquainted.

Fusion Friday / 5:30 – 6:30pm: The Down N Dirty Bootcamp with live music, bites, and drinks

Sweat & Brunch / 9:45 – 10:45am: Tru Hot Pilates Core followed by brunch and mimosas

Self-Care Sunday / 10 – 11am: Soulful Sunday Yoga followed by wellness vendors
