Billy Reid’s Warehouse Sale

by Raya Ramsey

Where: 1802 McMillan Avenue | Next to Houndstooth Coffee on Henderson Avenue

When: August 9 -18 | Monday – Saturday (10am to 7pm), Sunday (Noon to 6pm)

The Discount: Up to 70 percent of men’s and women’s apparel

Everyone loves a warehouse sale. So much so that chaos could potentially ensue. Fortunately, writer Bradford Pearson jotted down these helpful guidelines during a 2012 Billy Reid Warehouse Sale, which still very much hold up today. (OK maybe not the ties, but anyone who rides their bike to a warehouse sale has obviously made a life error.)

Note: With our permanent Billy Reid store now closed in Highland Park Village (it was replaced by Goop last year, and is currently home to Hadleigh’s), the option to shop all that tweed and cashmere IRL is all the more special.

Nicole Kwon Moving Sale

by Raya Ramsey

Where: 3699 McKinney Avenue, Suite 312

When: Until Nicole Kwon moves location, likely within the month

The Discount: Up to 80 percent off clothing, shoes, and accessories, along with store displays and fixtures

Nicole Kwon’s eponymous West Village boutique has long been a haven for cool-girl labels, like Rachel Comey, Miista, and A.L.C., stackable diamond rings, and playful Maryam Nassir Zadeh sandals. And while the New York transplant was probably right at home within her limited square footage for the last seven yeras, Kwon will finally be moving her shop into more spacious digs just a few doors down (in the corner space next to Sephora), adding new lines, including (potentially) some exclusives from Japan and Korea.
