I can say this, because I had nothing to do with pulling together D Home’s second annual “How to Live a Beautiful Life in Dallas” issue (which hits newsstands January 25): this issue is necessary. There’s an incredible amount of helpful information tailored to Dallas dwellers (though anyone, anywhere could benefit) covering everything from shopping thrift and estate sales to design do’s and don’ts and home renovation tips. There’s even a whole page on North Texas bats that I found very informative.

One of the best parts of the issue, though, are all the local businesses, shops, and experts that are given room to shine throughout. Lucky for us, some of those professionals have agreed to help us bring the 2019 edition to life just before it hits newsstands. On Wednesday, January 23, we would love for you, dear reader, to join us at Expressions Home Gallery in the Design District to experience the issue IRL and celebrate those in the city that truly help you live your most beautiful Dallas life. Expect DIY plant demonstrations from Oasis Plant Shop, tasty, take-home treats from We the Birds, cooking demonstrations by Thermador, wine tastings from Impeccable Rose, interactive photo opps by EZ Party Time, and so much more.

Head here to snag your tickets, and here to get the feel for what you can expect, courtesy of last year’s event. We hope to see you there!
