Maybe you’ve always dreamed of performing on the same court where Dirk hit 30,000 points. Maybe you’re just bored with your current cardio workout. Either way, the Dallas Mavericks Dancers are hosting a series of 14 prep classes before their preliminary July 15 audition, and that’s bound to be a fun workout.

The classes aren’t mandatory, as the Mavs have stressed, but they are designed to prepare eligible women for that final try-out. The two-hour classes start May 30 and run through July 11 at Trophy Fitness Club in downtown. (Get a closer look at the full schedule here.) But prepping for a chance in the AAC spotlight will cost you. Prices rage from one class going for $30 to all 14 priced at $210. (That’s more than a month of membership at Equiox Highland Park!)

Want a little insight? We can tell you what a Mavs dancer eats on Game Day and what they always have on hand in those cobalt blue gym bags. Even if you don’t make the final team, you’ll walk away having experienced one of Dallas’ most demanding workouts with some of the most talented, fit women in the industry. So hydrate, stretch, and pack a little hairspray. Just in case.
