As you’re well aware of by now—either because the news swept through Dallas like a dust storm or because you clicked on this post—Lionel Messi, the most famous athlete on the planet and the best soccer player in history, played Inter Miami last night. The hype was suffocating. The match itself somehow exceeded every bit of it.
