CAST Wines

Sparkling Brut Rosé, Estate Grown, 2019, Dry Creek Valley

This sparkling wine was uniquely produced from CAST Wines’ Estate Zinfandel fruit and is the winery’s first Estate Brut Rosé. This Sparkling Rosé smells of honeyed strawberries, toasted almonds, and pink grapefruit. The palate is lifted with elegant citrus notes, balanced by red fruit undertones and a slight brioche character running throughout. This is a beautiful wine to enjoy as an aperitif or with friends at a celebration. The sparkling wine was created using the centuries-old traditional method of champagne-making. After 22 months on lees in bottle, CAST Wines disgorged with an addition of 1% 2020 Zinfandel and 6 g/L of sugar to brighten the fruit and round out the palate.
