“How do we change the world? One Random Act of Kindness at a time.” – Morgan Freeman

Kindness is the most genuine act one can ever give. We enjoy the way we feel when we spread kindness, and we equally like the feeling of when we receive kindness. Kindness is described as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Each year, on February 17th, millions of Americans come together to change the world, one random act of kindness at a time.

First United Bank will be sharing in this effort for a second year and invites everyone to join them in their goal to complete 100,000 acts of kindness in one day. Through the help and generosity of their employees, partnering organizations, local businesses, non-profits, community leaders, and churches.

The beauty in spreading acts of kindness is that it costs nothing to be kind. No act is too big or too small. On the 17th, they’re encouraging the Dallas community to smile at someone, give a compliment, hold a door, pay for someone’s food at the drive-thru, or write a thank you note.

Join First United Bank in elevating lives by spreading kindness and making an impact on United Acts of Kindness Day by visiting, www.unitedactsofkindness.org. We are also encouraging everyone to share their kindness stories using #UnitedActsOfKindness on social media.
