Allyn Media’s Mari Woodlief sees a move to digital media from traditional efforts such as PR and advertising, while guiding clients into new creative realms. “With more people creating their own systems for gathering news and information, publishing original content on social media and other digital mediums is critical,” she says.

Among other things she shared with D CEO editors was the piece of advice that has had the most significant impact on her career. “Invest in your team with your time, attention, and resources. We work hard to know our team, listen to feedback, and create a work environment that addresses everyone’s needs. As a result, we have a team that is very tight-knit – several of us have worked together for decades, and the experience, institutional knowledge, and trust that comes from that longevity is priceless.”
