The Dallas Symphony Orchestra held its third annual C-Suite Christmas corporate fundraising event on December 8, 2021. This annual event celebrates the partnership between business and the arts, providing meaningful support for the DSO’s educational and community outreach programs.

2021 C-Suite Christmas Featured Executives included:

  • Trammell S. Crow – Founder and Chairman of the Board, EarthX
  • Chad Houser – Founder, CEO and Executive Chef, Café Momentum
  • T.D. Jakes – Founder and Chairman, T.D. Jakes Foundation
  • Lynn McBee – Civic Leader, Former Chairman of the Board of The Dallas Opera and TACA
  • Christine Perez – Editor, D CEO

This year’s event was chaired by Kim and Greg Hext. The Hexts have been strong supporters of the DSO for several years, and Kim Hext serves on the Dallas Symphony’s Board of Governors.

C-Suite Christmas benefits the Dallas Symphony’s Southern Dallas Residency, Young Musicians and Young Strings programs. Young Musicians, launched in summer 2019, provides free instruments and instruction to students in Southern Dallas in grades 1-7. This broad-based initiative is inspired by the El Sistema program, which uses music to further social equity and to nurture the child and their entire community. Young Strings, a core DSO education program since 1992, brings free lessons and deeper musical instruction to underrepresented communities in Dallas. C-Suite Christmas 2021 honored Chad Houser, and a scholarship for the DSO’s educational programs was named in recognition of his extraordinary work in the community.
