New to North Texas: The Legacy Midtown Park

Your next chapter, designed by you.

When you hear the term “senior living,” several opinions likely come to mind. Premier, resort-style living may not be one of them, but it won’t leave your thoughts after one visit to The Legacy Midtown Park, the newest addition to The Legacy Senior Communities.

Located at 8240 Manderville Lane in Dallas, The Legacy at Midtown Park offers luxury living with the ease and freedom of renting. The finest accommodations, a vibrant social scene, and a caring, attentive staff define The Legacy Midtown Park, providing a community like no other.  The campus continues The Legacy’s long tradition of quality and offers a full continuum of care, with lifestyle options based on each resident’s needs—Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support, Skilled Nursing, and Short-Term Rehabilitation. The Legacy Midtown Park is a life plan community, with a single campus that hosts multiple neighborhoods, each suited for your individual senior living needs.

Independent Living

At the Aaron Towers Independent Living Building, residents enjoy a sleek, modern apartment home along with a robust social calendar, 40,000 square feet of communal spaces, and an extensive list of high-end amenities. Plus, the community’s ideal location allows residents to take pleasure in all the city has to offer.

Assisted Living

Upscale amenities, a beautifully appointed apartment, and intuitive hospitality are hallmarks of Helene S. Shalom Assisted Living. Residents receive a helping hand with daily routines including dressing, bathing, dining, and medication management.

Memory Support

At the William and Sylvia Zale Foundation Memory Support Residences, each resident’s dignity is preserved by honoring their history, values, and choices. Residents receive nurturing care along with the latest technologies and programming designed for those with cognitive impairment. Staff-guided arts and crafts, physical activities, and social gatherings are implemented to provide opportunities for holistic wellness.

In addition to the stellar continuum of care living options, what attracts residents most to The Legacy Midtown Park is it’s overall aesthetic and amenities. “Guests are always blown away by our expansive collection of beautiful art,” says Alyssa Adam, chief marketing officer for The Legacy Senior Communities. The interiors of the Midtown Park campus almost mirror those of an art gallery, with unique, original art lining the halls. Featured pieces from renowned artists such as George Tobolowsky, Brad Oldham, and Robert Pollock, a resident of Midtown Park, contribute to the community’s rich, cultured environment. “Our team was intentional in collaborating with both artists and architects to ensure natural light and interior design would complement the community’s overall aesthetic.” A favorite among the residents is the collection of glass orbs on the amenity deck. Created by local artist Carlyn Ray, the colorful installation makes the amenity deck come alive and connects with the beautiful color that you see all throughout the interiors of the community.

Then there are the amenities. “Our upscale amenities and concierge services are often praised as comparable to a luxury cruise line,” Adam says. “All meals are taken care of, housekeeping is weekly, and there are endless lifestyle services and activities to choose from.”

The 7,450-square-foot fitness center includes a fully equipped gym, aerobics room, locker rooms, and an aquatics center with an indoor pool and spa. A full-time wellness coordinator offers weekly fitness classes as well as on-campus health and wellness programs with a personal trainer. Not to mention a golf simulator to continue perfecting that swing.

The Legacy Midtown Park offers multiple restaurant-style dining options. From fine dining to casual bistro fare, the chef-driven menus focus on seasonal ingredients and local cuisine. A kosher kitchen is also available. Also unique to The Legacy Midtown Park is an on-site bar and billiards area where residents gather for themed happy hour events each Thursday. “Everyone loves how much social opportunity there is here,” Adam says. “The residents continually say they connect with people that this community provides. It is what they love the most after they move into The Legacy Midtown Park.”

On any typical day, the residents can be seen exercising in the fitness center, playing mahjong in the cardroom, mingling at a spirited happy hour, or relaxing with a drink on the amenity deck. This is the new standard of senior living offered by The Legacy Midtown Park. Elegant surroundings, top-tier services, and a warm, inviting community. “When someone is considering a move to senior living, the top priority is people. Beckoning future neighbors, engaging and happy staff, these all carry a lot of weight, related to how a community makes them feel.”
