Located just off the Dart Green Line the Farmers Branch stop at Valley View Lane and Bee Street is the bustling live/work/shop space, Mustang Station, brimming with new restaurants—many of them owned by local chefs.

What to Eat & Drink

Cedar Creek Brewhouse & Eatery. Fans of locally brewed beer and from-scratch American comfort food know to head here. The owners of Cedar Creek Brewery and LUCK at Trinity Groves came together to open Cedar Creek Brewhouse and Eatery.  Diners can’t get enough of the hearty sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and entrees—the perfect addition to the award-winning, locally brewed beer. Roots Southern Table. Celebrity Chef Tiffany Derry has brought an authentic southern gourmet dining experience and craft cocktails to Farmers Branch. Roots is a product of T2D Concepts, Derry’s hospitality group with business partner, Tom Foley. The new restaurant is inspired by Derry’s upbringing on her family’s Southern farm and southern traditions, including eating with the seasons, canning and preserving fresh-picked fruits and vegetables, and never letting anything go to waste. The menu includes crawfish boil ravioli with Zummo Cajun sausage, smoky black-eyed pea hummus, fried shrimp and grits balls, spring pea salad, and Derry’s famous Duck Fat Fried Chicken. 13050 Bee Street, Suite 160

Red Stix Asian Street Food. Soon, you won’t have to drive to the Park Cities for the mouthwatering cuisine from Red Stix Asian Street Food. A second location is opening soon in Farmers Branch. Owner Uni Immanivong, formerly of Trinity Groves’ Chino China Town, has crafted a counter-service menu filled with flavorful Asian dishes, savory appetizers, and craft cocktails.

Cox Farms Market. On the go? Grab something new for dinner tonight at Cox Farms Market, with its third location recently opened at Shops at Mustang Station. ODD Muse Brewing Company. The family-owned brewery and taproom, ODD Muse, started as an idea that beer should be a gateway to community, friendship, inclusion, and culture. You’ll find it all here. While sampling from a wide array of beer styles, take in the restaurant’s artwork by local artists. Crossbuck BBQ. Tim McLaughlin of Lockhart Smokehouse is planning his latest venture, Crossbuck BBQ, an industrial-style restaurant next to ODD Muse Brewing Company. You’ll notice McLaughlin’s spin on various barbecue traditions, from Memphis-style pulled pork to St. Louis-midwestern ribs. Loyal Lockhart fans will be relieved to know that his famous brisket remains unchanged. Jen’s Place. If you’ve been searching for a fresh breakfast, lunch, or dessert spot, Jen’s Place is the place. Jen’s Place has been a local favorite since 1994. Family-owned and operated, Jen’s Place serves up beloved homemade recipes with a side of excellent service. Fresh and flavorful, it’s where those in the know go for catered business lunches, a quick lunch bite, a delicious breakfast on the go, or delectable desserts and pastries. 4455 Alpha Road

Cattleack Barbeque. In 2010, Todd David decided to turn his lifelong barbeque hobby into a profession and founded Cattleack Barbeque, known for its fall-off-the-bone, melt-in-your-mouth smoked meats. David pours his heart, soul, and Special Reserve BBQ sauce into each menu item, including brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and burnt ends; made-in-house sides; signature sandwiches; and homemade Crack Cake and banana pudding for dessert. Island Spot. Coming to Farmers Branch in fall 2021 at Four Corners, located at Josey Lane and Valley View Lane, is the third location of Island Spot. It’s a lively casual restaurant featuring authentic Jamaican cuisine and tropical cocktails in a fun, vibrant atmosphere where rich food, Reggae, and rum are savored.

Four Corners Café – The homestyle American menu features waffles, pancakes, egg dishes, salads, sandwiches, and, of course, biscuits and gravy. Four Corners Cafe also has many gluten-free options, including pancakes, waffles, and Udi’s brand gluten-free toast and bagels. The owners selected a local coffee roaster and have their own Four Corners Blend drip coffee as well as incredible cappuccinos and lattes made by specially trained baristas. Nuevo LeonNuevo Leon Mex-Mex, offers a unique and authentic experience in Mexican cuisine. This restaurant is based on family tradition and good food, cooked with pride and served with hospitality. The food they serve is a mixture of two distinct regions.
