Aligned congratulates Andrew Schaap, the company’s CEO, for his inclusion in D CEO magazine’s Dallas 500 list recognizing the region’s top business leaders. Andrew has significantly accelerated the company’s growth by driving the delivery of data center solutions with industry-leading technologies and adaptive infrastructure. Under Andrew’s guidance, Aligned has elevated to a leadership position in its space, growing sales each year, successfully gaining investors in a very competitive market, and serving a growing number of regional and global hyperscale and enterprise companies. More information about Aligned is available here.

Prior to joining Aligned, Andrew held numerous leadership positions including with Digital Realty Trust (NYSE: DLR) – most recently serving as Senior Vice President.  In this position, he was responsible for global, large-scale, client-driven data center builds and part of the executive leadership team that grew the company’s revenues to $2B. He also oversaw major international transactions, including projects in Osaka, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Sydney.

Andrew is involved with several philanthropic activities in the Dallas area as well as globally for the data center industry as a whole. Additionally, Andrew is the Co-founder of Data Center Delta (DC DELTA), a group of committed global data center end-users and innovators, connectivity providers and sustainability thought-leaders focused on improving data center efficiency and sustainability. He is also on the Advisory Council of the Infrastructure Masons, an organization dedicated to bringing together industry leaders to advance the industry, help develop their fellow members and empower business and personal use of the infrastructure to better the economy, the environment, and society.

Andrew earned his B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from Cornerstone University and completed graduate programs in Executive Negotiations and Management Training at Harvard University.
