Mockingbird Station Presents Free Fair This Weekend

Step right up for corn dogs, socially-distant games, and photo ops.

Keeping the spirit of the Texas State Fair alive, Mockingbird Station presents Station Fair. With Dallasites facing hardships throughout 2020, Mockingbird Station wanted to lift spirits and provide a safe and fun outdoor event honoring the Texas State Fair’s traditions, for free.

Guests can enjoy Instagrammable moments like the iconic Midway sign, colossal popcorn box with cotton candy, Ferris wheel, giant corn dog step, and repeat.

This family-friendly event will offer something for everyone, including traditional fair food like corn dogs and funnel cakes from Corn Dog With No Name plus, beers, and other alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Carnival games such as the high-striker, soccer kick, giant Jenga, LED cornhole, double shot basketball, and more will be available while following recommended CDC guidelines for social distancing. On Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18, a unicorn will be available for photos from noon – 2:00 pm.

To keep all attendees safe, all games, vendors, and activations will be hosted outdoors to allow for social distancing. Guests are encouraged to remain 6 feet apart, wear masks, and utilize the hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue.

Station Fair will take place at Mockingbird Station, 5307 E. Mockingbird Lane Dallas, TX 75206. Event hours are Friday, October 16 from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Saturday, October 17 from 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 18 from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
