If we had a dollar for every time someone with local celeb status listed a home in Dallas, we could all quit our day jobs. However, this listing is different. Featured on HGTV’s Design Star, interior designer Leslie Ezelle is showcasing the most exciting reveal to date—the listing of her personal home in Dallas’s Disney Streets. And why should you care? The only thing a designer puts more passion into than her clients’ homes is her own.

The Dallas-based designer, who actually won Design Star’s All-Star show, claims to specialize in the design of high rise condos. But from the looks of her home at 10910 Candlelight Lane, we are thinking that it might be time to claim a new specialty.

This five-bedroom, 4.1-bathroom home has 5,353 square feet of luxurious living space on a large corner lot. The front yard curb appeal is effortless with its mix of modern yet warm design complimented by a low maintenance yard. Think glamorous gravel and lush landscaping that includes healthy grass and multiple trees.

Once inside, 10-foot ceilings make the entire home appear spacious and bright. This 2018 construction has the perfect balance of clean lines and fine finish outs. Think Italian porcelain tile floors, Quartz counters throughout, and even Porcelanosa wall tile in the powder bathroom. And while the kitchen seems to be the heart of this happy home, we love the dining area that is surrounded by a long shallow countertop that almost makes you feel like you are dining in a cool art gallery in the Dallas Design District.

There is a sleek but sexy primary room with an equally as impressive primary bathroom. All additional bedrooms are located on the second floor of the property along with a game room. These bedrooms all take advantage of large windows that result in excellent natural light. The garage is currently being utilized as a home gym. We can’t help but wonder if this was a pre or post-COVID choice? Whatever the case may be, we love it, and it is definitely working out. Pun intended.

Another big bonus is the outdoor space, which is large and efficiently used as it is. The dreamers in us can’t help envision a sleek pool though. Yes, this backyard is just perfect for a pool. Another bonus? There are Tesla solar panels. And while it might be true that this is located just off of Peter Pan Lane, the owner of this green home definitely is not afraid to grow up and get with the energy source of the future.

After buying, remodeling, managing, and selling a number of properties, Marti realized that her passion for houses and helping people form the perfect intersection.
