The Black Tie Ambassador program is a brand-new fundraising initiative from Black Tie Dinner. Fundraising this year has been especially challenging but Black Tie Dinner will remain committed to raising as much money for our beneficiaries as they can. That’s where you come in. By becoming a Black Tie Ambassador, you commit to using your network of family, friends, and colleagues to raise money for our annual distribution. The first Black Tie Dinner in 1982 produced a $6,000 donation to the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Since then, the Dallas-based dinner has grown into the largest fundraising dinner in the nation for the LGBTQ community. For the 39th year, Black Tie Dinner is doing things a little differently with Black Tie Live, a one-hour fundraising tv program on WFAA-TV on Sunday, October 18, at 4 p.m. Proceeds from the show and the Ambassador program will help support 17 LGBTQ non-profits, including 16 right here in North Texas.

To date, Black Tie Dinner has distributed over $25 million dollars to a wide variety of organizations serving the needs of the LGBTQ community. Black Tie Dinner is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
