For 40 years, the 250 men of the Turtle Creek Chorale have entertained the Dallas community and beyond with wonderful performances, including their always-entertaining Holiday concerts. To help celebrate their anniversary and raise money for their musical, cultural and educational programs, the TCC is hosting a black-tie gala that includes an open bar, dinner, and private concert by Idina Menzel at The Statler’s Grand Ballroom on February 22, 2020.
Whether you know her as Maureen from Rent, Elphaba from Wicked, Elsa from Frozen and Frozen II, or Rachel’s mom from Glee, Idina Menzel has wowed audiences of all ages on both stage and screen. And, thanks to the Turtle Creek Chorale, she is coming to Dallas to perform an exclusive private concert of some of her most memorable songs. From Broadway hits like Seasons of Love or Defying Gravity to the Academy Award-winning song Let It Go, Idina is sure to impress with her powerful voice.
This night is more than just a wonderful concert, though – it is a GALA, after all! This black-tie affair will include a cocktail reception, delicious dinner, live auction, performance, and some surprises. The evening will begin at 6 pm with the welcome reception which includes an open bar that will continue until the final song around 10 pm. Rhapsody provides a wonderful reason to dress up and have fun with friends or a special someone – a belated Valentine’s date, perhaps!
In addition to providing a wonderful experience, the evening also serves as a fundraiser for the Turtle Creek Chorale’s educational initiatives. The Chorale is dedicated to providing educational programs and opportunities for youth and adults in a way that gives back to the community. The funds raised during Rhapsody will go towards these endeavors including their commitment to suicide awareness and prevention.
This night is sure to be magical! Limited seating is available and is selling out fast. Click here to get your tickets today!
