As all parents probably know, summertime stir-craziness is real. And what better change of scenery than a staycation that takes into account your busy kids’ love of action-packed activities? For all that and then some, consider one of the many summer activities on deck at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas. And though you won’t find these adventurous options at your average summer camp, they’re sure to be an unforgettable experience for the whole family—whether you choose to visit on a low-key weekend or during a busy week. Here are five things you and your kids might want to see (or do) at the Four Seasons this summer:

Catch A Dive-In Movie Complete With Grilled Family Fare

Every Friday night through Labor Day, enjoy an All-American (and kid-friendly) buffet from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Four Seasons’ Family Pool before the dive-in movie starts at dusk. (And fear not: There are adult beverages, too!) Click here for the full summer movie lineup to plan your visit.

Brush Up On Your Swings

Whether you’re interested in tennis or golf, there are Saturday clinics as well as a junior camp for that at the Four Seasons this summer. And if you’re looking for less instruction and more whimsy, check out Cosmic Golf every Saturday starting at 8 p.m.

Primp & Pamper Poolside

If you don’t know already you’ll soon learn that the Four Seasons Family Pool is the place to be on summer Saturdays, especially if you’re a fan of rest, relaxation, and rejuvenating experiences. Enjoy a poolside mini spa at the Agave Pool & Bar on Saturdays at 11 a.m., or reserve a private daybed for the day.  At the Family Pool, kids can splash around or get an airbrush tattoo. Either way, your new addition will be nice and dry in time for kids to enjoy poolside games and a giant waterslide from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Meet Some Animals

Didn’t quite make it on that wild summer safari like the kids wanted? Fear not: Every weekend through Labor Day, the Four Seasons will bring the animals to you with a live animal show every Saturday afternoon.

Take A Parents’ Night Off At Kids Night In

The Four Seasons has you covered with Kids Night In every Friday and Saturday night—which means parents’ night out. Drop your kids ages 3 to 13 years at 6 p.m. and enjoy your freedom until 9:30 pm., then hear about all of the exciting stuff they did while you were out—think activities, games, and crafts, plus a kid-friendly dinner. And if you plan to staycation at the hotel while your kids enjoy some time to themselves, consider lounging poolside on a private daybed at the Agave Pool & Bar or grabbing dinner and a cocktail at LAW and OUTLAW Taproom.

Don’t forget to check out the Four Seasons’ lineup of family fun through Labor Day holiday weekend, too. In typical fashion, its scheduled to be as action-packed as your kids’ entire summer, with options for activities like movie screenings and live music, plus other events for the whole family to enjoy. And no matter what your family’s up to this summer, rest assured that the Four Seasons is more than ready to take the kids off your hands for a little while.
