Go Easy, a Beauty and Wellness Boutique, Finds a Permanent Home in Bishop Arts
This summer, the team behind Magic Hour opened Go Easy, a pop-up shop with an emphasis on women’s wellness and self-care. After months of using Fount Board & Table’s space on Routh Street, Go Easy has found a permanent space next to Magic Hour in the Bishop Arts District. Go Easy’s curated lineup includes a mix of local and national brands, and you’ll find beauty and wellness offerings like jade rollers, body brushes, supplements, hair care, and face masks. The store also stocks a plethora of CBD drops, CBD-infused skin and hair treatments, and sexual wellness products. Molly Matthias, Magic Hour’s founder, hopes that Go Easy will normalize these typically “taboo” offerings and be an inviting place for women to learn more about them. Favor the Kind Will Host Two Sales This Weekend
On Saturday, October 10, the Henderson Avenue boutique will host its quarterly sidewalk sale. The Favor the Kind parking lot will be stocked with racks of apparel, home goods, and accessories. Expect a huge selection. Favor the Kind emptied out its Colorado outlet store and brought everything to Dallas. Every item is 50 percent off the lowest price. Customers will use self-checkout and payment is cash or Venmo only. On Sunday, October 11, Favor the Kind will host a virtual Swap & Flea to showcase local vendors and other small businesses. Flea Style Announces a New Retail Concept, Game Day Style
A year after opening a storefront and café in Frisco, Flea Style has a third brick-and-mortar location in the works. Game Day Style will stock handmade, vintage, and one-of-a-kind sports gear. While there will be ample Cowboys products, Flea Style founder Brittany Cobb is also working on custom collaborations with Flea Style artisans to include a mix of high school, college, and professional teams. Think tie-dye sweatshirts, fringed denim jackets, and more. The new store will be located at The Star in Frisco across from the Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop. It’s set to open on November 6, which coincides with Flea Style and Heirloom Haul’s one-year anniversary festivities on November 6 to 8.
