There are “Things to Do,” and then there are “Things to Shop.” Here are a few opportunities to support your favorite local spots in Dallas.

Bottletop Pops-Up in NorthPark | Friday, Oct. 5 – Dec. 31

Bottletop’s Dani Backpack

Bottletop, a celeb-cosigned Brit brand focusing on sustainable accessories, launched their first brick and mortar in the world’s first 3-D printed store in London last December. From what we hear, that impressive level of eco-friendly architecture will be on full display when their NorthPark pop-up kicks off its residency Friday, October 5.  Stop by for bags, backpacks, belts, and wallets — all excellent examples of how chic sustainable style can be.

Credo’s Facial Oils Alchemy Class | Friday, Oct. 5

If beauty is a science, then this class held at Credo, Legacy West’s clean beauty boutique, is an actually-fun chem project. Stop by the San Fran transplant this Friday (from either 1-3pm or 6-8pm) for a face oil class, where Herbivore Botanicals will help you create the perfect glowy formula and teach you how to work it into your at-home beauty routine. We the Birds macarons will be served, along with “DIY ingestible potions.”

*Note: the price is $30, but that fee will be redeemable for products.

Favor the Kind’s Swap & Flea – Sunday, Oct. 7

by Kristi and Scot Redman

The Swap & Fleas at Favor the Kind (we can stop saying “formerly The Gypsy Wagon” now, right?) are a good deal. I mean, you probably know that. You’ve probably been. But just in case you haven’t, you should know that these little markets are well worth the trip to Henderson. This Sunday’s event features Favor the Kind favorites such as Sunshine Tienda, Rare Heart Vintage, The Abstract Plant, and a slew of other vintage pickers and local makers, along with deep discounts on FTK’s own selection of home goods, apparel, and display furniture. The whole thing starts at 10am, and you’re going to want to get there early.
