6 Dallas Boutiques to Find a Fashionable Fourth of July Bathing Suit

Because sometimes there just isn't time for Shopbop.

How many times have you ever “liked.to.know.it” (we can use that as a verb, right?) on a blogger’s cute swimsuit-centric Instagram just to be redirected to Revolve.com or Shopbop? If you’re like me, the answer is countless times. And while shopping online is a wonderful modern luxury that I give thanks for every day, sometimes you just need to know exactly where you can find those trendy suits right here, right now—especially when that “now” is mere days away from the swimsuit-prevalent Fourth of July.

Here, we’ve rounded up six local boutique carrying the most enviable swimwear lines on the market for your brick-and-mortar shopping pleasure. Now suit up!

Bask Boutique

If you’ve ever wondered what bathing suit brand your favorite blogger is wearing, there is a 98 percent chance you can find it at Bask. The Snider Plaza boutique stocks labels ranging from Acacia to Tori Praver, and practically every fashion-forward swimwear brand in between, along with cover ups and affordable jewelry from local designers such as Rory Ashton.

Nicole Kwon

The New York designer’s concept store in West Village has always been a great spot to discover new lines. It’s also one of the few boutiques in Dallas to carry swimwear from Mara Hoffman and Rachel Comey.

The Gypsy Wagon

The Henderson Avenue shop (and its newly opened North Dallas pop-up!) carries everything you need for a photogenic summer, including swimwear labels such as Boys + Arrows (an excellent name for anything), Maaji, and more.

An impressive shoe selection and Amanda Uprichard cocktail dresses might be the first things that come to mind when you think about L. Bartlett, but the West Village boutique also carries a solid assortment of suits by Wildfox or L*Space and plenty of chic coverups to go with them.

Planet Blue

The Santa Monica transplant on Henderson Avenue carries a bevy of Instagram-ready rompers, denim, and flowy dresses, but head to the back for a curated collection of California cool swimwear from brands including For Love and Lemons and Planet Blue’s own Blue Life label.

Lou & Grey

I know this is a chain, but it’s one of the few shops in Dallas where you can buy Solid & Striped and Basta Surf swimwear. Plus, it’s a wonderful, affordable boutique that also supports small businesses. Forgive me!

Honorable and Affordable Non-Boutique Mentions

Saint Bernard Outlet

With all that ski gear, it’s easy to forget about Saint Bernard’s excellent selection of swimwear. Head to their Shops at Park Lane outlet for deals on Eberjey, Vitamin A, and Seafolly.

TJ Maxx Runway Section

Not all TJ Maxx Runway sections are created equal. Some, like the one in the Dallas location by NorthPark, are discount-filled wonderlands where designs from Alice + Olivia, Theory, and Derek Lam are deeply on sale. In the swimwear department, you can almost always score deals on a Tory Burch or Nanette Lapore suit.

Wala

I know this is online which pretty much goes against the entire premise of this article, but y’all, Wala is seriously cool. They carry a curated selection of brands that sell particularly well in the Dallas market, and are all about helping you find the perfect fit. It’s probably a little late in the game to use Wala for the Fourth of July, but the more you know, you know!
