Kelly St. John Talks All Things Neiman Marcus Beauty Event

Tell us about the Beauty Event and why was it created.
Twice a year, Neiman Marcus Beauty opens our doors for 12 glorious days of beauty during our Beauty Event to focus on celebrating women and celebrating beauty.  Our goal is to offer the most unique and exceptional customer experience for our Beauty clients.  We want every woman to feel comfortable and confident coming in to Neiman Marcus or clicking online to solve any question or need. We hope that our Faces of Beauty campaign inspires all woman that there are multiple things that define Beauty and that every woman feels compelled to get to Neiman Marcus Beauty during this event and take advantage of the opportunity. They’ll take home one of our incredibly cool magazine tote bags designed by Eddie Borgo while learning about the latest products. This is a chance to discover the new, the unexpected, and so much more.

What are your personal SOS products?
Masks! I literally have a full drawer dedicated for every single need and skin scenario.  Some of my favorites are:  Sisley Paris Eye Contour Mask, Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask, Fresh Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask, Omorovicza Blue Diamond Resurfacing Peel, Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask, and the LaMer Lifting and Firming Mask. Because you cannot forget about your hair I’d also say the Oribe Masque for Beautiful Color! (And yes…. I use every one of these masks and more!)

If you only had five minutes to get ready, what are your go-to products?
If I had only five minutes to get ready my go to products would be The Lancer Method (Polish, Cleanse, Nourish), Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer, and Tom Ford Extreme Mascara.

Do Dallas women have a favorite counter in the store?
I think that Dallas women gravitate to their beauty specialist who they have a relationship with rather than a particular counter.  I think that they trust that she will share with them all of the new and cutting-edge technology in treatment products as well as the latest in color and the must have fragrance.
