Galleria Dallas’ iconic ice skating rink was covered on Thursday evening to set the stage for Fashion Group International of Dallas’ Rising Stars Awards Gala. The annual fundraiser celebrates trendsetters who are making an impact on the community in the fields of fashion, interior design, beauty, photography, jewelry and art.
In keeping with the evening’s atmosphere, guests were dressed to the nines in the highest heels and chicest fur and leather coats. And their effort didn’t go unnoticed: “Fashion Police” doled out fashion and beauty citations throughout the evening to the impeccably well dressed.
Shay Geyer, partner and designer at IBB Design Fine Furnishings, played emcee for the evening and helped smooth the transitions between award announcements and the Jan Strimple produced runway shows. The event was filled with gorgeous fashion and plenty of food and drinks to go around (Mi Cocina’s brisket chimichangas for the win). Here’s who took home the awards.
