All that glitters isn’t gold—unless you’re going to one of these shops (okay, it could also be platinum too). Whether you’re shopping for a ring to say “will you?” or a piece to commemorate your golden anniversary, these are the stores where you should be shopping.
- Eiseman Jewels. Located across from Neiman Marcus in NorthPark, the Eiseman family has been in the jewelry making business for more than 50 years. Stop by for their collection of vintage timepieces and bridal boutique.
- Bachendorf’s. Winner of 2014’s Best of Big D reader’s choice, this store has in-house artisans who can help design a custom piece, as well as recognizable names like David Yurman, Chanel, Omega, and Ivanka Trump.
- deBoulle. This Preston Road “chateau” always has lots of fancy cars parked outside—that’s a good sign of who their clientele is.
- Ylang 23. Usually you can’t shop for bohemian babes and ladies who lunch in the same shop, but Ylang 23 isn’t just any store. Stop by for everything from delicate seed pearls to sparkling cocktail rings and edgy studs.
