Charlotte Tilbury’s Cool-Girl Makeup Hits Dallas

Legendary makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury has taken the guesswork out of getting ready.

Getting your makeup done can be a roll of the dice—sometimes, you come out looking like a supermodel, and other times you look not-so-super. Luckily, legendary makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury has taken the guesswork out of getting ready.

Tilbury’s collection made its much-anticipated entry into the United States earlier this year at New York’s Bergdorf Goodman after rising to cult status in England. And now, for the first time, you can buy her products in Dallas at the Nordstrom in NorthPark Center.

The best part? She’s developed different personas inspired by her celebrity clientele. Love Kate Moss’ party-girl-meets-motorcycle-chic look? Then the “Rock Chick” is for you. More of a Gisele Bundchen fan? Then you’ll love the “Golden Goddess.” Either way, Tilbury’s crew has you covered.

We stopped by Nordstrom on Friday and one of the brand’s leading makeup pros Nelson Catarino shared the hero products to look rock-chick-chic. After hours, I received tons of compliments on my smoky eyes, and even got asked out on a few dates. Here’s how he created the look:

1Use the Charlotte Tilbury Color Chameleon in Black Diamonds, taking the pencil from the lash line to the beginning of the brow bone. Follow that with the Luxury Palette in Rock Chick, blending up and out so that no line is visible between the pencil and power. Tightly line the upper lids using Feline Flick, and finish with a thick coat of Full Fat Lashes mascara in Glossy Black.

2With a fluffy brush, apply Cheek to Chic in First Love to the apples of cheek and in circular motions blend out.

3To complete the look, line lips with Lip Cheat in Iconic Nude. Fill in the outline with K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Nude Kate. If you prefer a creamy finish, stop here, or if you’d rather have a glossy lip, apply a slick of Lip Lustre Lip Lacquer in Blonde.
