Join co-chairs Chuck Steelman and Katy Messersmith for a fashionable night in Dallas Trade Mart’s Grand Pavilion, benefitting FGI Dallas Career Day. The Night of Stars Gala will include a runway presentation featuring local fashion industry supporters and philanthropists, as well as the awarding of the Shelly Musselman Fashion Design Award, a $10,000 prize which includes the creation of a capsule collection mentored by Bolke and unveiled at the Night of Stars.
The Splendid Indian Closet Fashion Show: Meet designers Joy Mitra and Lisa Ray (for Satya Paul) at this Indian luxury and couture show. The event will showcase two collections, “Ray of Hope,” a line of saris, and “Chokher Bali,” dedicated to late actor/director/producer Rituparno Ghosh. The cocktail reception will be held 6:30 to 8 p.m. followed by the fashion show.
