You Want to Look a Little Flirty This Weekend? Try Winks by Georgie.

Some of us avoid false lashes because they’re a pain in the ass to apply. Some of us avoid them because of the strippery results we see on other girls. Some of us have simply stopped buying them because we have Shu Uemura abandonment issues. (They packed up their lash bar and left town.) But, good news, ladies! There’s a new kid in town at Neiman Marcus that is winning the approval of beauty experts everywhere. Georgie Beauty has created a line of lovely lashes called Winks by Georgie. They come in three fashionable styles: No. 1 La Chérie, the natural lash look, No. 2 L’Avant-Gardiste, the more sultry, cat-eye version, and No. 3 La Starlette for ultra glamour (see below). The first pair comes in a sleek, black, refillable compact with PETA-certified lash glue that contains fewer chemicals than popular brands (no formaldehyde, parabens, etc.) for $25. Refill lashes are available for $12. The best thing about these lashes is they’re easy to apply. I like to drag the lash line through a little puddle of glue on the lash of my hand and let the glue get a little tacky for 30 seconds. Start with the corner of your eye and work your way out. To avoid smooshing the glue all over the eye lid, I like to use a little orange wood stick instead of my fingertip. When your night is over (or when you wake up in the morning with a hangover and mascara on your cheeks), just peel them off, gently remove the glue with your fingers, and stick ’em back in the case for another night. Buy one pair for fun. You won’t be sorry. Available at Neiman Marcus.
