Australian jewelry designer Margot McKinney is making a personal appearance at the downtown Neiman Marcus today for a trunk show and to meet one-on-one with her customers. As you can see from the photo here, Margot uses lots of bright gemstones and South Sea Pearls in her designs to create contemporary but classic pieces. A press release suggests you wear her designs to “Sunday brunch” and a “PTA meeting” along with dressier occasions. I disagree. Unless you’re the queen of England, you probably should not. What you should do is stop by today, pick out your favorite piece, add it to your wish list, and nail it to your hubby’s forehead tuck it gently in your hubby’s briefcase. 10 am to 4 pm
