NUVO, Best of Big D gift shop, is hosting a trunk show for L.A. clothing designer Ryan Roberts. The two-day affair will feature Roberts’ fall collection of dresses, sweaters, and coats, which happen to be worth a look. I’m particularly fond of the coat, left. You’ll find fall wardrobe staples in shapes that will be wearable for a long time. Plus, Roberts himself will be in the shop, promoting the new pieces. Friday, Oct. 8, and Saturday, Oct. 9, from 11 am to 4 pm at NUVO. Prices run in the $300 and $400 range. Happy fall shopping.
