JB Fitness Hosts “Bootcamp Boutique”

We don’t have the money it requires to attend this 5-day exercise extravaganza, but in case you do, we had to let you know about this luxury bootcamp program. It sounds like a blast. (A cardio blast, anyway.) JB, who runs a local bootcamp, is packing up his act and taking it (and 12 campers) on a fitness vacation in October. For five days, campers will eat, breathe, and sleep exercise and nutrition in style. The program will include a 5-night stay at a Dallas boutique hotel, gourmet meals and snacks, spa treatments, before and after body composition analyses, chauffeur service to and from the hotel, and, of course, workouts. As you can see left, a typical day might include six different kinds of exercise, but there is plenty of time for relaxing at night. After attending a local bootcamp challenge for Camp Gladiator (our 2010 Best of Big D winner for fitness program) and losing major inches and pounds, I love the idea of a comprehensive health retreat. This kind of getaway takes distractions, boredom, time restraints, motivational problems, and other things that get in the way of working out, and throws them right out the window. It’ll cost you, though. For a private room, you’ll pay $3,400; for a shared room, $2,900; to stay at home, but still participate, $1,850. To sign up, hit up Summer, JB’s wife and business partner, at 469-287-8804.
