The Handmade Bash Reviewed: Peace Traveler

|
Image

Last weekend marked Dallas’ first “Handmade Bash” made up of Etsy’s Dallas artists. It was everything I hoped it would be. It was packed with local talent, busy with excited people, and it was stocked with booze, a bar shining happily at the front doors. Pardon the crappy pictures, but my MyTouch did the best it could to capture the artistry at the booths. First up, one of my favorites stops, Peace Traveler. These luggage reinventors bring old baggage back to life in fun colors, shapes, and sizes with fun, hippie-inspired stamp art. You’ll see peace signs, owls, skull and crossbones, etc. printed on these retro trunks and train cases. Prices are incredibly affordable, averaging between $34 and $55. Follow the jump to see another photo with more cases.

*Correction: This “Bash” was actually the fourth one. Looking forward to more!
