I’m sure I don’t have to tell many of you, but just in case, Spa Week has arrived! You can skip my babbling and go see all the local spas participating if you want. For the rest of you, I’ll go slow. The idea behind Spa Week is to make spa treatments available to the masses for one great week. What started in New York with 25 participating spas has now turned into a nationwide phenomenon with more than 700 spas. Woo hoo! Spa Week takes place April 12-April 18, during which spas offer $50 treatments. The list of Dallas-Fort Worth participants includes Aqua Medical Spa, which is offering a 50-minute Pore Purifying Facial; Exhale, with a 60-minute Fusion massage; Fresh, with a 60-minute Purify and Control Face Treatment (man I love Fresh); Halcyon with a 50-minute Peppermint Sea Salt Pedicure; LifeSpa, with hour-long signature massages; the Saks salon, with a 60-minute body scrub; and the Stoneleigh Spa, with a 45-minute massage and warm oil scalp treatment (gosh that sounds good). These are just a few of the more than 30 spas offering discounts this week. Remember: this isn’t beauty, people. This is wellness, so have no guilt. Make your reservations ASAP.
