Friday Giveaway: Axxium Treatment at Posh Nail Spa

OPI AxxiumThe holy grail of nail services has been discovered, and it’s available at the aptly named new spa, Posh Nail Spa on McKinney (next to Blockbuster). First, the spa. This modern beauty has a cozy, but contemporary feel with all white furniture, a black tiled accent wall, and lots of crystal lighting fixtures, like chandeliers and wall sconces. You feel more hip just sitting in the place. As for Axxium (a winner of Allure’s “Breakthrough Award”), it’s a gel lacquer applied to the tops of natural nails for a long lasting wear (we mean up to four weeks, according to Posh owner Victoria) that won’t chip, scratch, dent, or de-shine until it’s soaked back off at the salon. The colors are limited but cover the spectrum of OPI classics, like You Don’t Know Jacques! and Lincoln Park After Dark. I’m wearing Bubble Bath, and I’m in love. Plus, the treatment is a steal at $35 at Posh ($45 for the first time). Now, more about the salon. The manicure stations aren’t actually stations. They’re long tables, perfect for actually conversing with friends. It really is time to say “see ya” to whispering gossip to friends in stations too far away during mani/pedi day. Wine is complimentary and neck massages (good ones) follow the treatments. And who doesn’t love that? I’m pretty sure I just found my favorite new nail salon. Count me in as a regular. To enter to win an Axxium treatment at Posh, fill out the form. Good luck!
