Terri Tomlinson, who has served as make-up artist on several of D’s photo shoots including last year’s D Home Mike Modano/Willa Ford spread and the cover of the upcoming August 2009 issue of D Magazine, has begun teaching multi-student make-up artistry classes. “There is absolutely no reason why someone should have to go to New York or Los Angeles for this kind of training,” says Tomlinson. Her twenty years in the industry have provided extensive knowledge of video, film, television, print and runway make-up techniques – so she definitely knows her stuff. Upcoming classes include: Camera Ready (July 21), a class for actors and models to learn more about the various mediums they work in and how to adjust for each, and Basic One-Day Intensive (August 1) for make-up artists who have some experience and want to improve their skills and knowledge. Prices, location, a full list of classes, and additional information can be found on her web site.
