These days green jeans don’t mean jeans that are the color green. Well, they can mean that but they usually don’t. Today we mean “green” in the sense of eco-friendly, earth-loving, planet-caring, etc. And I give props to those people spearheading the effort – especially when they are Dallasites. DaSoil, with offices in Dallas and NYC, is a blue jean company “committed to sustainable practices, social responsibility, design and function for its consumer’s lifestyle.” In other words, they make jeans from soil, organic cotton and recycled denim pieces.  The line comes in 16 different styles and if you order now, you’ll get any pair for just $65 during their sale! The company believes that jeans should be available to everyone so they offer men’s (coming soon) and plus-sizes too. Should it come to pass that you don’t like any of their designs (which you will) then order a custom pair made to your specifications. Just pick a style, fabric, rise, fly-type, leg, hem, crease, and even whether or not you want a coin pocket. And, get this, the company is looking for “real” people to use in their marketing efforts so if you’ve got the modeling bug, go for it!
