Bunny’s Night at Mecox

By Peggy Levinson |

bunnyIf you weren’t one of the almost 400 people at Mecox last night, you are about the only person in the design community that wasn’t.  I’ve never seen the Mecox store so packed, so I really couldn’t see how it looked, and apparently no one wanted to leave.  They finally had to start turning lights out so people would leave at 9.    Bunny Williams was late getting there with plane troubles, but got right to it – signing books and chatting with her fans with her usual easy charm.  You can see from the photo, that there was no line cutting, these people were serious about an autographed book.  Owner Mac Hoak was thrilled – he told me that the Dallas store is one of the bright spots in the country.  Well, we already knew that.
