From Book to Perfume: foreverlily

Inspired by Beth Nonte Russell’s book, Forever Lily, comes the perfume, foreverlily. The book is a memoir about Russell’s adoption of her daughter from China. Intimate moments in the author’s life and book inspired the notes that can be found in this perfume: an Oriental blend of clove, lemon, and lychee, fig, stargazer lily, cedarwood, vanilla, amber, and sandalwood. This fragrance is the first line in Russell’s company, GoodTrueBeautiful, Inc., a lifestyle brand, which, in the future, seeks to include meditation CDs and jewelry. Ten percent of all GoodTrueBeautiful purchases will go to the Golden Phoenix Foundation, whose mission is to end child abandonment around the world. For me, when I look for a new perfume, I want one with a lot of heart and an inspired mix. I haven’t smelled foreverlily myself, but it sounds like it’s got a lot of heart to me.
